Custom Health & Safety Training Built Around Your Workplace
Generic health and safety training can cover the basics, but it may not help employees understand how those requirements apply to the work they actually perform.
WorkBright develops custom occupational health and safety training based on your workplace hazards, policies, procedures and work practices. Our OHS professionals work alongside instructional designers to create training that is technically accurate, practical and relevant to your workforce.
Training can be developed as eLearning, instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (VILT), or a blended learning program.
Health & Safety Expertise Behind the Training
Our training is developed with ROH and CRSP professionals who bring real-world OHS consulting experience to course development.
Our work includes training developed for clients that achieved Ontario Chief Prevention Officer approval, as well as eLearning recognized by the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals.

Examples include:

- Hazard-specific training
- WHMIS and chemical hazard training
- Supervisor and manager training
- Occupational hygiene and exposure-control training
- Emergency preparedness
- Safe work procedures
- Refresher and competency training
Our Process: From Workplace Requirements to Effective Training
Phase 1: Understand Your Workplace
We start by understanding what your employees actually need to know and do. This may include reviewing your:
- Workplace hazards and exposures
- Policies and procedures
- Equipment and work processes
- Employee and supervisor responsibilities
- Existing training materials
- Regulatory or organizational requirements
This gives us the technical foundation for developing training that reflects your workplace rather than a generic version of it.
Phase 2: Develop the Training
Our OHS professionals work with instructional designers to transform the technical information into practical learning.
Depending on the project, training may include:
- Workplace-specific scenarios and case studies
- Interactive learning activities
- Knowledge checks and assessments
- Photographs, diagrams and workplace imagery
- Video and audio
- Case-study videos based on situations employees may encounter
- Downloadable resources and reference materials
The training can be developed as eLearning, ILT, VILT or blended formats, depending on the learning objectives and workforce.

Workplace-specific case study videos can help employees recognize hazards and apply health and safety requirements to situations they may actually encounter.
Phase 3: Review, Build and Deliver
Your team reviews the training to confirm that workplace-specific information accurately reflects your operations, procedures and expectations.
We then finalize the training in the appropriate format and prepare it for delivery to your workforce.
If you do not have your own Learning Management System, online training can also be delivered through a WorkBright Employer Account, allowing you to enrol employees, assign training, track completion and maintain training records.
